Week 2 of Weymouth Summer Hoops set to begin

Week 2 of Weymouth Summer Hoops 2013 is set to begin on Monday July 15th.  Week 1 finished strong as over 100 kids spent the week at Weymouth High School combining the perfect amount of fun and working on their basketball skills.  Once again the "Factory" skill sessions were campers favorite part of the day.  Walk in registrations are welcome, for more information check out www.weymouthsummerhoops.com

Weymouth Summer Hoops Update

After two days of camp, Weymouth Summer Hoops 2013 is off to a great start.  The high school division is being run by 4 time state champion coach Rich Gifford formerly of Avon HS.  These high intensity workouts will no doubt help the kids from Weymouth, Rockland and Abington prepare for their high school seasons. Wildcats Captain Stephen Karlberg pictured above is providing excellent leadership.
Todays focus on camp was the great John Wooden quote - "you can't live a perfect day without doing something for someone who can never repay you." Campers were encouraged to Pay it Forward and do some good deeds before camp tomorrow.
Former Wildcat and nationally ranked Jared Terrell visited camp today. He just got back from the Lebron James Skills Academy in Las Vegas.  Jared who holds offers from a ton of high major schools including Kansas and Florida averaged 16ppg for the 2011 BSL champions.

Weymouth Boys Bring Home the Gold!!

The Southeast boys team went 6-0 at the Bay State Games to bring home the gold.  Weymouth residents Ryan "Toasty" Roache (Cardinal Spellman), Brendan Butler (WHS), Ryan Jones (WHS) and T.J. Vasquez .(South Shore Christian) I really enjoyed being part of the staff along with Hull Coach Jim Quatromoni.
